$250.00 Brand Source Service Scholarship BSS members will receive an annual $250.00 scholarship that can used to help take advantage of industry opportunities to improve their service business! Examples include reimbursement for registration fees for service conventions or seminars, membership fees for service association memberships, service publication subscription fees, and flat rate pricing programs. Members can also make special requests for use of the scholarship.Please note that the complimentary Marcone Servicers Association (MSA) given in 2007 will now become elective. Members interested in an MSA membership should contact Marcone directly, and then submit a Benefits Claim Form (attached) for reimbursement to BSS.
25 FREE Expert Protection Major Component Warranties BSS will receive 25 complimentary Expert Protection Major Component warranties, a $100.00 value! These warranties, with a retail value of $79.95, cover the major component of appliances for 10 years (parts only). Examples are washer transmission (motors on machines without transmissions), dryer motors, dishwasher motors, gas range ignitors, electric range elements, and refrigerator compressors. These warranties can be used as an incentive for customers to buy from you when their old appliance has been condemned, given in lieu of price adjustments to match a competitor, used to satisfy an unhappy customer, and many other ways.
$100.00 Brand Source Service Branding Credit BSS members will receive an annual $100.00 branding credit that can be used to help cover expenses incurred in putting the Brand Source Service logo on technician uniforms and service vehicles! BSS recommends using the Aramark uniform program to procure uniforms (Brand Source Service and Ronald McDonald House Charities emblems automatically included) and the Truck Skins online ordering link (posted in the Brand Source Backroom under Brand Source Service Information) for truck signage.
$5.00 Expert Protection Service Rate Increase BSS members will receive an automatic service rate increase of $5.00 per call! Expert Protection will send BSS reports of members’ paid claims, and BSS will then pay members $5.00 per claim on a quarterly basis.To be eligible for these benefits, BSS members must be in good standing. $150.00 of total benefits are available each quarter. Benefits may be used in any combination as long as the total value does not exceed the quarterly limit.
