Brand Source Service

Brand Source Service recognizes that member feedback is key to developing meaningful programs and services that drive value into Brand Source Service membership.  To that end, Brand Source Service is excited to announce the creation of the Brand Source Service Council.

The Council, comprised of 6 successful Brand Source Service members located across the country, was formed to serve the following purposes:

1. Serve as a “sounding board” for Brand Source Service leadership to bounce programs, services and ideas off and determine value to members

2. Serve as an “advisory panel” to help plot the course and direction of Brand Source Service

3. Service as regional contacts for Brand Source Service members in the same geographic area to share best practices, business challenges/solutions

The Brand Source Service Council includes the following individuals:

Northeast

Don Frank, Sr., L.H. Brubaker Appliance, Lancaster, PA

Don was instrumental in the creation of Brand Source Service in 2007, has chaired the Service Committee for several years.  Don’s company is a MARTA member and become a part of the Brand Source family when MARTA and Brand Source aligned in 2006.  Don  is a respected leader and sought after expert and speaker on appliance service management.

Southeast

Lance Kimball, Appliance Repair Specialists, Tampa, FL

Lance started his career in the appliance industry as a Maytag sales representative and went on to open a Maytag Home Appliance Center.  Lance discovered he was much more profitable in service than he was in sales and closed his retail operation this year. Lance joined the Brand Source family as part of the Maytag Channel in 2007 and serves on the Board of Directors of United Servicers Association (USA).

North Central

Chuck Rozema, Northgate Appliance, Holland, MI

Chuck, like many Brand Source members, grew up in the family business and has done everything from deliveries to sales and service.  He now runs the business on a day to day business with his brother.  Chuck’s company has been a Brand Source Michigan Region member for 10 years.

Doug Klein, Klein’s Brand Source, Fairview Heights, IL

Doug company is a charter member of Brand Source Service and was the first member that the concept was presented to in the field.  Doug’s company is one of the most respected servcie companies in the St. Louis, MO area and has been a Brand Source Greater Midwest Region member for many years.

Northwest

Carl Humphries, West Coast Appliance, Central Point, OR

Carl built his southern Oregon business on service and now operates a successful service and retail operation.  Carl is a Past President of the Brand Source Northwest Region and his company is a charter member of Brand Source Service.

Southwest

Brent Rufenacht, B & B Appliance, Escondido, CA

Brent and his family operate their service-centric business in Southern California as members of the Brand Source Pacific Southwest Region.  Brent was one of a hand picked group of servicing members that helped develop the Brand Source Service concept.  Additionally, Brent has written his own service management software program and flat rate pricing program.

Brand Source Service would like to thank these individuals for their willingness to commit their time, talent and effort to the good of the organization.  The Council will be introduced at the Brand Source Service Breakfast during the National Convention in Las Vegas.  The breakfast will be at 7:00, Tuesday, September 1 in the Chablis Room at the Paris Hotel.
