Expert Protection Parts Subsidy Program Announced
Expert Protection is excited to announce a new program to alleviate the financial pressure caused by NEWs administration policies regarding Expert Protection contracts sold January 16, 2006 through November 9, 2008. The subsidy is available to all Expert Protection servicing dealers and the preferred servicers of non-servicing dealers. The subsidy is tiered to pay increasing amounts on claims that include the use of parts.
In many examples servicers will be able to collect more net revenue for repairs than they would have been paid under the original WaCA rates. This will help provide relief for the instances where the current NEW rate does not cover the cost of the repair.
The dates of the subsidy are January 1 through June 30, 2010. At that time the program will be assessed and adjusted as necessary. To be eligible for the subsidy dealers must be current Brand Source members actively sellin Expert Protection plans at a level equal to or greater than 2008 or 80% of 2009.
Claims may be submitted electronically through an interactive .pdf form that is available by clicking here. Required support documentation includes the NEW service authorization, service ticket, and parts distributor invoice for the part.
