Technical training on laundry products in the Whirlpool family of brands began yesterday at the Galesburg, IL regional training center. Students from as far away as Silver Spring, MD and Escanaba, MI made the trip to participate in the 4 day program faciliated by product training specialists from Whirlpool Corporation. Training included classroom instruction on theory, reading schematics and other technical data as well as hands-on tear down and reassembly of products.
nThe host of the program, Carl Sandburg College, has announced a similar program on refrigeration products Monday, March 19 through Friday, March 23. This session, available to all service companies regardless of Brand Source affiliation, will not be brand specific and will be faciliated by the school\'s on-site instructor. Registration is only $475.00 in includes instruction and lunches. Particiants are responsible for lodging, transportation and meals outside of lunch. Participants will also have the option to earn AHAM NARDA Refrigeration Recovery Certification at an additional cost of $85.00.
